Watching the Senate hearings unfold, one moment stood out: Dr. Anthony Fauci invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

It is a glaring contradiction. Here is a man covered by a broad presidential pardon, yet he stands before Congress and hides behind the Fifth. That begs an obvious question: What does Fauci know about the limits of his own pardon that the American public does not?

Equally revealing was the conduct of the committee's Democrats. Not a single Democratic senator pressed him with a line of questioning that would force him to plead the Fifth. They ask no questions at all. Their comments were clearly pre-written so they must have had prior knowledge he was going to plead the Fifth. Instead of conducting real oversight, they spent their time acting as defense counsel for him.

This spectacle exposes two undeniable realities: Anthony Fauci was never a neutral public servant—he was a partisan operative—and his actions have rendered him thoroughly discredited.

Finally, My State Senator from Missouri said what needs to be said. After a pardon you may not stand on the Fifth amendment. That is one of the rights you lose when you accept a pardon!

The legal reality here is straightforward. As established in landmark Supreme Court precedent like Brown v. Walker (1896), once a presidential pardon removes the legal risk of prosecution for a specific federal act, the right against self-incrimination no longer applies to those specific acts. The state can compel testimony because the danger of self-incrimination for those past federal acts has been erased.

So why the silence?

Fauci’s refusal to speak is not an act of constitutional principle; it is a confession of guilt. The issue isn't just his guilt—which was laid bare long ago through questionable policy dictates, suppressed scientific debate, shifting narratives and a now released diary. The true scandal is that the Democratic establishment was fully aware of the truth and chose to remain complicit. Every senator who sat there shielding a man compelled to testify should be held accountable.

They aren't just shielding Anthony Fauci. They are shielding themselves.

Look at what transpired during the COVID era: Felonies were committed, potential federal election interference, collusion with foreign entities, and decisions that carried immense human cost. People died lonely and afraid. Families were torn apart, businesses failed, our government seized powers the constitution never allowed.

Is this what we get for the death, tears and destruction of our families and our country that this man and the Democrat conspiracy caused during Covid. Are we to believe questions of crime and national security must go unpunished and unanswered.

Now your party is involved in bringing communism to America in Blue cities across our republic—what will you do this time— Cover your Face once more, but this time not out of fear, but out of shame!
