May Day "Strong": Billionaire-Backed Socialist Revolution, Not Grassroots Workers' Protest.

While crowds chanted against billionaires, dark money from a Shanghai tycoon with CCP ties fueled the machine. This May Day spectacle reveals how the Left manufactures outrage to advance its radical agenda.

On May 1, 2026, over 3,000 coordinated events blanketed America under “May Day Strong.” Organizers demanded an economic blackout—no work, no school, no shopping—under the slogan “Workers Over Billionaires.” Unions marched students into the streets. Boycotts targeted Trump policies. This was no grass-roots workers’ revolt. It was a scripted socialist operation rooted in Marxist history and bankrolled by the very billionaires it claims to hate.

May Day’s origins expose the ideology. The 1886 Haymarket Affair in Chicago erupted into riots over the eight-hour day, fueled by anarchist and socialist agitators. In 1889, the Second International—a global Marxist body—declared May 1 International Workers’ Day. Today’s U.S. protests recycle the same class-warfare script: divide, inflame, seize control.

The funding trail rips away the mask. A coalition of 600+ groups with $2 billion in combined annual revenue drove the events. Top players include Democratic Socialists of America chapters, the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), ANSWER Coalition, Code Pink, CPUSA, and the People’s Forum.

Billionaire Neville Roy Singham sits at the center. The former tech executive, now based in Shanghai, has funneled $278 million into this far-left network. He maintains documented ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Specifics: over $20 million to the People’s Forum alone, routed through shell companies and donor-advised funds. His wife, Jodie Evans, co-founded Code Pink and sits on the People’s Forum board. Singham also bankrolls the PSL—an openly Marxist-Leninist communist party that calls for revolutionary overthrow of capitalism—and the ANSWER Coalition, which functions as a PSL front group.

Irony drips from every banner. “Workers Over Billionaires” protests funded by billionaires. Singham and allies do not oppose wealth. They oppose wealth that does not serve their revolution. This is not anti-billionaire. It is about who controls the money, the message, and the power.

Teachers’ unions deliver the most sinister piece. The National Education Association and American Federation of Teachers did not merely endorse May Day Strong. They ran it. The NEA issued an official “May Day 2026 Toolkit” with step-by-step guides for walkouts, rallies, and student mobilization. Both unions, long captured by DSA-aligned activists, have shifted from education to activism. Resolutions and training now push CRT, gender ideology, anti-capitalism, and “equity” over reading and math. The NEA alone directed nearly $1.7 million to Midwest Academy, which trained organizers for these exact May Day actions.

Classrooms became pipelines. Anti-American history. Socialist economics. Identity politics replacing facts. Results are measurable: NAEP reading and math scores have declined sharply since 2019, with eighth-grade math down nine points and 12th-grade reading at historic lows. Youth radicalization follows. Unions turned students into foot soldiers for the cause while parents pay the dues.

This is not education. It is indoctrination. Compulsory union dues and dark money from a Shanghai-based donor with CCP links fund the machine.

America First rejects the entire racket. Socialist infiltration through unions and foreign-tied billionaires threatens self-reliance, parental rights, and national sovereignty. Defund union political spending. Pass curriculum transparency laws. Enforce parental authority in schools. Expose every foreign dollar.

Without pushback, imported May Day rituals become permanent American reality. The spectacle was never about workers. It was about power. The mask is off. The American people must end the grift.
