On May 1, 2026, over 3,000 coordinated events blanketed America under “May Day Strong.” Organizers demanded an economic blackout—no work, no school, no shopping—under the slogan “Workers Over Billionaires.” Unions marched students into the streets. Singham also bankrolls the PSL—an openly Marxist-Leninist communist party that calls for revolutionary overthrow of capitalism—and the ANSWER Coalition, which functions as a PSL front group.

Irony drips from every banner. “Workers Over Billionaires” protests funded by billionaires. Singham and allies do not oppose wealth. They oppose wealth that does not serve their revolution. This is not anti-billionaire. It is about who controls the money, the message, and the power.

Teachers’ unions deliver the most sinister piece. The National Education Association and American Federation of Teachers did not merely endorse May Day Strong. They ran it. The NEA issued an official “May Day 2026 Toolkit” with step-by-step guides for walkouts, rallies, and student mobilization. Both unions, long captured by DSA-aligned activists, have shifted from education to activism. Resolutions and training now push CRT, gender ideology, anti-capitalism, and “equity” over reading and math.
