California: From the Golden State to the State of Confusion
NBC is already saying Late Mail-in ballot drops could pour in for democrats across LA and California for a whole week. What could go wrong!

It is tempting to think that a place as beautiful as California could eventually come to its senses. Many normal Americans hope that one day the state will turn red again and begin reversing the policies that have driven so many residents and businesses away.
But the reality is far less encouraging.
There are a lot of people deeply committed to a socialist vision for California even though it has failed publicly. Despite rising costs, growing homelessness, public safety concerns, declining quality of life, fraud, crime, and corruption, a large number of voters continue supporting the same policies and the same political machine that has dominated California for decades. To me the only thing thriving in California now days is mental illness.
Even if voters suddenly changed course, California's political system that has been controlled by Corrupt Democrats for so long the deck is stacked against meaningful change and real elections. From the state's jungle primary system to sanctuary city policies, auto mail out ballots, millions of Illegal aliens consuming taxpayer dollars and corrupt election practices that continue to generate controversy and distrust, many Californians have lost confidence that their voices can make a difference and clearly do not have the stomach to raise up and take it back.
Hollywood elites, political insiders, and special interests continue pouring money and influence into preserving the status quo of what I see as communism among us. Many appear convinced that through their donations they will somehow be insulated from the consequences of the policies they support. As a result, California increasingly appears to be what I would call "freedom-proof."

Election Questions
Consider the recent election results.
Mayor Bass of LA, who reportedly led Pratt by five points, was declared the winner almost immediately. Yet Pratt, who held a larger lead of nearly 9 points over Raman in the same race, was told that his portion of the same race was too close to call. How do you take the same race, the same vote areas gathered, the same percent counted in the same race and come up with a split answer? Yet Californians are not screaming at the top of their lungs. You cannot make it make sense.
The same concerns extend to the governor's race. With a larger percentage of votes reportedly counted than when other races were called, Republican Steve Hilton still had not been declared the winner of that primary to move on against the Democrat. Many Californians fail to understand that the problem is not simply the people holding office—it is a corrupt political system controlled by a single party that oversees government, influences media narratives, Law enforcement and benefits from entrenched power. The same system they have allowed by inaction and letting corruption flourish in California while they look the other way out of personal convenience.
If Californians truly want change, they must become active participants rather than complaining spectators. Real reform requires engagement, accountability, and a willingness to challenge the political establishment. It requires you “to get off the couch”.

Watching a State Decline
I have many dear friends in California. I have had family there and a lifetime of history connected to the state. That personal connection is why watching its decline is so infuriating. But being realistic I just do not think it is possible any longer, until the state collapses under the weight of socialism and a real republican, is in power in the White House and lets it collapse, then and only then could it happen. That time is now, all the pieces are in place, but I believe the opportunity will be squandered.
Take the Palisades fires as an example.
Many Californians watched in disbelief as families lost, lives, homes, businesses, possessions, and memories. Critics point to government failures and mismanagement that they believe worsened the disaster. For those victims, the experience was devastating. Yet even after such a tragedy, there appears to be little political momentum for sweeping change. Who was the first person called in the Mayoral race, Bass the same person who caused much of the problem.
If people can lose everything and still accept the same leadership and policies, it becomes difficult to imagine what event would finally serve as a wake-up call. It is almost like people do not understand if it happened to the Palisades, it could and would happen to them.

The State of Confusion
California today faces numerous challenges. Residents routinely complain about homelessness, open drug use, crime, gang activity, high taxes, government waste, and corruption. Businesses continue leaving. Families continue relocating. Many communities feel less safe than they once did. At the same time, citizens often feel that government is more concerned with serving special interests like illegal aliens than serving taxpayers. All while the state is facing huge budget deficits.
What is remarkable is that nearly everyone seems to recognize these problems.
The complaints are constant.
The frustration and anger is widespread.
Yet meaningful action remains elusive and almost appears like Californians don’t even understand the concept of change and freedom. California has surrendered to communism.
Voting for different leadership would not require Californians to personally fix every problem themselves. It would simply require electing leaders who are willing to confront those problems honestly and aggressively. There are candidates willing to take that fight on, but too often voters allow the opportunity to pass by. Each lost opportunity only enforces the California attitude of "poor me, my vote just doesn't make a difference" and makes it harder for good candidates to step forward next election cycle.
My prediction is that when November comes and goes, Democrats will still control nearly every major lever of power in California. People will once again wonder why nothing changes, while they let their children see homeless zombies walk the streets, while stepping over human feces and used needles. Living in fear, crime and watching their tax dollars finance it all.
My conclusion is simple: normal people would never have allowed conditions to deteriorate this far without demanding accountability or just getting out of the state. If you do not fix the corrupt system that rigs elections, through policies and an environment created to confuse and control voters, it is almost impossible to achieve change. Until California stands up and demands their rights, change or even improvement will never happen. The citizens of California must understand they are living under a political system that was designed to never let go of power and control again.
Sadly, the reality of California today is that the Golden State has increasingly become the State of Confusion.
Although, I have to admit, it does look pretty good on a license plate.
