WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump announced a major expansion of the TrumpRx.gov platform on Monday, adding more than 600 generic medications to the direct-to-consumer discount site through partnerships with Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Drugs, Amazon Pharmacy, and GoodRx.

The expansion was unveiled at a White House healthcare affordability event in the South Court Auditorium. Trump highlighted the platform’s goal of delivering transparency and lower prices on everyday medicines for conditions such as cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, and mental health.

TrumpRx, originally launched in February 2026, already claims more than $400 million in savings for Americans. The new additions allow patients to compare and access deeply discounted generics, with some medications available for home delivery.

A standout moment was Trump’s warm public exchange with billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, who endorsed Kamala Harris in 2024 and has been a vocal Trump critic in the past. Trump shook hands with Cuban on stage and joked that the two men share “one thing” in common: “We want to make people better and keep them wealthy.”

Cuban, whose Cost Plus Drugs will supply 559 of the new generics on the platform, praised the initiative for increasing competition and lowering prices. He defended the partnership against criticism, stating that anything helping patients afford medications is a win.

The event underscored the administration’s focus on bypassing traditional pharmacy benefit managers to deliver savings directly to consumers. White House officials project hundreds of billions in total savings over the next decade.

Trump called the expansion a “game-changer” for working families and said it demonstrates his commitment to making healthcare more affordable without government mandates. The updated TrumpRx site now serves as a one-stop comparison tool linking patients to the lowest available prices from participating providers.
