Trump Unveils Dramatic Renderings of Planned Miami Presidential Library Skyscraper
The 100-second animated video, posted on Truth Social and the new TrumpLibrary.org website, shows a 47-story high-rise rising above Biscayne Boulevard, capped by a red, white, and blue spire with the name “Trump” emblazoned in large gold lettering across the facade.

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump on Monday night released the first video renderings of his future presidential library, a towering glass-and-gold skyscraper planned for Miami’s waterfront that will dwarf nearby landmarks and feature replicas of White House rooms, military aircraft, and a golden statue of himself.
The 100-second animated video, posted on Truth Social and the new TrumpLibrary.org website, shows a 47-story high-rise rising above Biscayne Boulevard, capped by a red, white, and blue spire with the name “Trump” emblazoned in large gold lettering across the facade. The complex includes sweeping interior views of exhibit spaces filled with presidential memorabilia, a golden escalator entrance (nodding to Trump’s 2015 campaign launch at Trump Tower), recreations of the Oval Office, West Wing, and the new White House ballroom, as well as displays of fighter jets, a helicopter, and a Boeing 747-8 aircraft resembling Air Force One.
The video also depicts visitors touring the site, gathering on a large patio overlooking the water, and interacting with exhibits highlighting key moments from Trump’s presidency.
The library will be built on a prime 2.63-acre parcel adjacent to Miami’s historic Freedom Tower, a site transferred to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation after approval by Florida officials and Miami-Dade College trustees in late 2025. The foundation, incorporated in Florida last year, is raising private donations to cover construction and operations. Trump and his team are seeking hundreds of millions of dollars, with the website directing major donors (over $10,000) to submit inquiry forms.
Eric Trump, who has led much of the planning effort through the Trump Organization, posted on X that the project has been in development for the past six months. “This landmark on the water in Miami, Florida will stand as a lasting testament to an amazing man, an amazing developer, and the greatest President our Nation has ever known,” he wrote.
White House spokesman Davis Ingle told The Wall Street Journal the library is intended to be “one of the most magnificent buildings in the world.”
Presidential libraries traditionally serve as archives and museums, funded privately before eventual transfer to the National Archives. Trump’s planned facility stands out for its scale and commercial-style design. It will also house the $400 million Boeing 747-8 gifted by Qatar, which the administration has accepted for display.
The project’s architect is Bermello Ajamil, a Florida-based firm. No firm construction timeline or total cost has been released, though earlier reports indicated a multi-year build following site acquisition.
Trump has long criticized other presidential libraries, including Barack Obama’s Chicago facility, for their design and scale. His Miami project is positioned as a bold departure, reflecting his personal brand and vision for commemorating his presidency.
The video release marks the first public look at the library since Florida officials approved the land transfer and the foundation began fundraising in earnest. The site is expected to become a major tourist destination in downtown Miami once completed.
