Trump Offers $1 Million Reward for Tips Leading to Voter Fraud Convictions

President Donald Trump said Monday that individuals who report voter fraud from previous elections or the upcoming midterms that results in arrest and conviction will receive $1 million. “Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud!” he wrote on Truth Social.

Speaking to reporters the same day, Trump reiterated the offer, describing it as a “million-dollar bonus or reward” for tips that lead to arrest and conviction. The announcement follows earlier administration steps on fraud, including a $25 million Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program aimed at federal program abuse more broadly. White House officials have previously described rewards tied to successful enforcement actions.

The timing places the pledge eight days before the November 3 midterms, during which early voting is underway in multiple states. Federal law bars noncitizens from voting in federal elections; the Justice Department has brought charges in recent weeks involving dozens of noncitizens accused of illegal voting or related false statements. Trump has repeatedly described noncitizen voting and related irregularities as priorities.
