President Donald Trump said Friday that MAGA Inc. will allocate about $400 million to $500 million to Republican House and Senate candidates with 60 days remaining before the Nov. 3 midterms. Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, he said, “I think I have like close to a billion dollars in the super PAC, and I’m allocating probably four or $500 million.” “We’re going to spend a lot of money because we don’t want to lose our country.” He said he will decide which races get support. “I’m going to be making contributions to various campaigns and people I think are good, Republicans that I think are very good, people that I think can win or are close to winning.” He added, “I’m going to spend whatever amount of money necessary to try and help us. This is my money that I control.” He said unused funds could be held for 2028.

MAGA Inc. is the Trump-aligned hybrid PAC that financed much of his 2024 campaign and has been the largest single Republican outside account heading into this cycle. Its latest Federal Election Commission monthly report, covering through July 31, listed about $403.5 million cash on hand. From the start of 2025 through that date the committee reported roughly $400.7 million in receipts and about $21 million in disbursements, including $1.7 million in independent expenditures. That cash position still exceeded the Republican National Committee, National Republican Congressional Committee, and National Republican Senatorial Committee combined in the most recent comparable filings. Super PACs may raise and spend unlimited sums independently; they cannot give money directly to candidates or coordinate advertising with campaigns.

Republican officials had been urging the White House to start deploying the account after months of limited public spending. Records show MAGA Inc. put about $800,000 into texts and calls for Darline Graham’s South Carolina Senate runoff in August and paid for a Vice President JD Vance event in Michigan. James Blair runs the committee. MAGA Inc. spent nearly $377 million in the 2024 cycle. The Friday announcement came as Republicans defend narrow majorities in both chambers and as the party’s midterm convention approaches next week in Dallas. Any independent expenditures the PAC makes cannot be coordinated with the campaigns they support. August FEC reports, when filed, will show activity after July 31.
