SAN ANTONIO — A 26-year-old San Antonio man has been arrested and charged with making terroristic threats after authorities say he posted online threats to kill Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk and bomb the organization’s upcoming Women’s Leadership Summit.

Jacob Wenske was taken into custody on May 28, 2026, by San Antonio police. He faces two felony counts of making a terroristic threat causing public fear of serious bodily injury or public disruption.

According to an arrest warrant and court documents, Wenske made multiple threatening statements online. In April 2026, he replied to a social media post promoting the Turning Point USA Women’s Leadership Summit by writing, “I know exactly where to bomb.” In a separate January 2026 email, he allegedly wrote, “Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event.”

The Women’s Leadership Summit is scheduled for June 5-7 at the Marriott Rivercenter in downtown San Antonio and is expected to draw over 2,500 attendees. Speakers include Riley Gaines and Alex Clark. The event will proceed with heightened security, including additional private guards and law enforcement presence.

Erika Kirk, who assumed leadership of Turning Point USA after the assassination of her husband Charlie Kirk in September 2025, thanked law enforcement for their swift response. Conservative figures and organizations have condemned the threats as part of a disturbing pattern of political violence.

Wenske remains in custody on a $60,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing, with federal authorities also involved due to the interstate nature of the threats and the targeting of a high-profile conservative event.

This incident highlights the continued challenges of online threats and political violence in the current environment. No motive beyond the content of the threats has been publicly disclosed. Wenske is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
