Netanyahu and Milei Launch 'Isaac Accords' to Deepen Israel-Latin America Ties
The Isaac Accords establish a new strategic framework modeled after the 2020 Abraham Accords.

JERUSALEM — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Argentine President Javier Milei officially launched the “Isaac Accords” on April 19, 2026, during a ceremony at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.
The Isaac Accords establish a new strategic framework modeled after the 2020 Abraham Accords. They aim to expand cooperation between Israel, Argentina, the United States, and other like-minded nations across the Western Hemisphere that share Judeo-Christian values and a commitment to freedom and democracy.
The initiative is open-ended, inviting additional Latin American countries to join. It focuses on coordinated action against common threats, including terrorism, antisemitism, drug trafficking, and Iranian influence in the region.
Key goals include:
- Strengthening security and intelligence sharing
- Advancing economic and trade partnerships
- Promoting technological collaboration, particularly in artificial intelligence
- Enhancing diplomatic alignment in international forums
- Fostering cultural and educational ties
During the signing, Netanyahu and Milei also inked bilateral agreements on security cooperation, AI development, and the launch of direct commercial flights between Tel Aviv and Buenos Aires.
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee attended the ceremony and credited President Donald Trump with creating the conditions for such peace initiatives. Netanyahu described the accords as part of a broader “alliance of freedom” and a potential “compass and map” for other nations. Milei, a driving force behind the concept, positioned Argentina as a key partner in countering authoritarian regimes and extremist networks.
For Israel and pro-Western nations in Latin America, the Isaac Accords mark a significant realignment aimed at long-term stability, prosperity, and shared defense against mutual adversaries.
