Justice Department Announces Charges Involving 63 Individuals for Election-Related Crimes
DOJ announced charges involving 63 people, including four illegal aliens, for illegal voting, fraudulent registration, and related election offenses. AG Blanche called it the largest surge of voter-fraud arrests since Trump returned to office.

The Justice Department on Monday announced charges involving 63 individuals, including four illegal aliens, in connection with illegal voting, fraudulent voter registration, and related election offenses across multiple states.
Attorney General Todd Blanche called the announcement the largest surge of voter-fraud arrests since President Trump returned to office. The cases include voting by aliens in federal elections, false claims of U.S. citizenship to register or vote, and fraudulent submission of registration applications. In the last nine weeks the department has charged 195 aliens across 25 states with illegal voting and registration offenses; total charges for voting-fraud-related offenses since the start of the administration stand at 239.
Examples include charges in Georgia, Texas, and other districts against individuals accused of voting while ineligible. ICE has conducted parallel enforcement, announcing additional arrests of noncitizens who admitted to registering or casting ballots. Acting ICE Director David J. Venturella and other officials have stated that American elections must follow the law and that every illegal vote cancels a citizen’s vote.
The latest charges form part of ongoing administration efforts that include matching voter rolls against immigration databases and pursuing both criminal and immigration consequences.
