WASHINGTON — House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) revealed Friday that the congressional investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking network and the federal government’s handling of related documents is expanding with five to eight additional high-profile depositions scheduled.

In a Newsmax “Wake Up America” interview, Comer stated: “We have several more depositions scheduled. We have people like Bill Gates … and we have some more men who were mentioned in the Epstein files.” He confirmed the committee will offer Epstein victims the chance to testify under oath, saying, “I’ve always planned on bringing in the victims — or at least offering them the opportunity to come in and testify under oath — so hopefully that will happen.”

The probe examines compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, DOJ record handling, and potential accountability for powerful associates. It follows earlier depositions and subpoenas targeting officials including former Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Comer stressed moving “as quickly as possible … and hopefully we’ll get the truth to the American people and see if there’s any way any of these men can be held accountable for wrongdoing.”

For Epstein survivors and families demanding full disclosure after years of delays, Comer’s comments indicate the investigation is broadening to uncover more about the elite network that operated with apparent impunity.
