General Michael Flynn Demands Obama’s Passport Revoked, Home Raided Over Russia Hoax

General Michael Flynn demands the DOJ revoke Barack Obama’s passport and raid his D.C. home, citing declassified documents exposing Obama’s role in the Russia hoax. The call, backed by conservatives, intensifies pressure for accountability in Trump’s second term.

July 22, 2025 - Former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, in an explosive interview with conservative host Benny Johnson, demanded the Department of Justice revoke former President Barack Obama’s passport and raid his Washington, D.C., residence in Kalorama. Flynn’s fiery call, rooted in newly declassified documents, accuses Obama of leading a “criminal conspiracy” to sabotage President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign through the debunked Russia collusion narrative. The demand reflects conservative outrage over perceived abuses by the Obama administration, amplifying calls for accountability as Trump’s second term focuses on dismantling the “deep state.”

Flynn, speaking to Johnson, cited documents released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on July 18, 2025, which he claims expose Obama’s role in directing intelligence officials to target Trump’s team, including Flynn himself. “All of these people that are involved, starting with Obama on down, they all ought to have their passports revoked, and people need to be checking private airplanes and private airfields for anybody trying to abscond the country and get the heck out of dodge here,” Flynn said. He further called for an immediate FBI raid on Obama’s Kalorama home, stating, “I do think that what the DOJ should be considering, if not getting ready to conduct, is a raid of Barack Obama’s home up there at Kalorama, in Washington DC where he’s been since he left.” Flynn argued this is necessary to prevent flight risks and ensure justice for what he called “the greatest crime in the history of the United States.”

The declassified documents, from a December 8, 2016, Oval Office meeting, allegedly show Obama instructing officials to pursue the Russia collusion narrative, despite knowing it lacked evidence. Flynn, who was investigated for his 2016 calls with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI in 2017 before the case was dropped in 2020, claims he was a primary target of this “coup.” He praised Gabbard and Trump for exposing the truth and urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to act swiftly, suggesting a dedicated DOJ task force and prosecutor, similar to those used in Hunter Biden’s case.

Conservatives view Flynn’s demands as a righteous response to years of alleged political persecution, pointing to the 2022 FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate as a precedent for aggressive investigations set by Democrats. The Mar-a-Lago raid, which targeted classified documents, was widely criticized by Trump supporters as a weaponized use of federal power. Flynn’s call for similar action against Obama resonates with a conservative base eager to see justice served, especially after Trump’s 2024 landslide victory, securing 64% of rural voters and strong margins across all 50 states. Posts on X reflect this sentiment, with many users echoing Flynn’s push for accountability, though some caution that legal hurdles may complicate such actions.

The DOJ has not responded to Flynn’s demands, and Obama’s representatives have remained silent. As conservative support grows, with figures like Steve Bannon calling for prison time for Obama and others, the debate over the Russia hoax continues to polarize the nation.
