15 Antifa Radicals Indicted, 12 Arrested in Federal Probe of Violent Anti-ICE Campaign in Minneapolis
The indictments include charges of conspiracy to commit civil disorder, assault on federal officers, destruction of government property, and interference with federal law enforcement functions.

Washington, D.C. – Federal authorities announced on June 16, 2026, that a grand jury has indicted 15 individuals linked to Antifa networks in Minneapolis on charges stemming from a coordinated campaign of violence and obstruction targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. Twelve of the defendants have already been arrested in a multi-agency sweep.
The indictments include charges of conspiracy to commit civil disorder, assault on federal officers, destruction of government property, and interference with federal law enforcement functions. The investigation focused on repeated attacks and disruptions during ICE enforcement actions in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area over the past year.
Prosecutors allege the defendants planned and executed operations involving physical assaults on ICE officers, use of fireworks and lasers to interfere with operations, vandalism of federal vehicles, and attempts to block arrests of criminal illegal aliens. Encrypted communications and social media coordination were reportedly used to organize the efforts.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche emphasized that the charges reflect a commitment to protecting federal officers carrying out lawful duties and holding accountable those who engage in domestic extremism. The operation involved the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, and local law enforcement partners.
The case underscores the Trump administration’s aggressive stance against Antifa-linked violence, particularly when directed at immigration enforcement. Officials noted that the group’s actions endangered officers and disrupted efforts to remove public safety threats from communities.
The remaining defendants are being actively sought. All charged individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The case will be prosecuted in U.S. District Court in Minnesota.
This development is part of a broader federal crackdown on organized political violence and attacks on law enforcement across the country. Further arrests and additional charges are possible as the investigation continues.
